From my own experience with my V6, I would certainly get new shocks - Bilsteins are about £46ea for the fronts and £49ea for the rears. And I would combine this with Eibach springs. They only drop the car -30mm, but they are very compliant.Originally Posted by Alscort
I had H&R springs on the V6 with Bilstein shocks - slightly cheaper than the Eibachs and good quality, but the trade-off was that they weren't progressive rate - so you hard a choice of firm or firm ride quality - though don't interpret 'firm' as 'harsh'.

i thought id wait and see on teh shock front. see how it rides and then decide.
to be honest im so in the mood for a new car now iv lost all heart ... i just dont have time to enjoy my car anymore.
i didn't hear any complaints on thursday , mine is running bilsteins and non progressive PI springs , personally i dont like the initial squidge of progressive springs , it takes to long to load the suspension up during turn in , of course a lot of it depends on driving style and personal taste .Originally Posted by Kieran
