std boost pressure

can somone tell me the std boost pressure on a 1993 vr4,and what a safe level is to raise it to??

As far as I remember stock boost on my 7th Gen VR4 was 7 psi. I had mine raised to 12 psi without any problems or modifications. You can get more boost if you do other mods. I ran 16-20+psi on my VR4 but had extensive mods....intake,exhaust,fuel pump,Haltech engine management,MSD ignition and more. In my opinion 12 psi is safe & the car will feel very strong. BTW, my car was manual transmission...the automatic version doesn't feel nearly as powerful.
