Engine number

Anyone know where to find this on the 6A13? have found one on the block above the bell housing and just below what would be the front head, but not sure if this is it.

I looked for one on my spare engine but I couldn't find it, are the 2 numbers you found the same or differant?

No, it's just one number, the two locations mentioned just to try and show the actual position of it. Has 6a13 stamped above it.

can't find it sorry. I found several 2.5l markings on it, but I couldn't find 6a13 anywhere. By bell housing I assume you mean the end of the engine that goes to the transmission, right? and on the front cylinder head?

yep, on the actual block just below the cylider head

Sorry, all I've got there is 2.5 D 1, thats it. I can find that on the engine in a couple of places as well. How big is it? Those 4 are about .75 inches tall.
