Driving down the motorway on the weekend my headlights were switching on and off. I suspect loose wires. Not one but both were failing. Also one headlight is so dim it is yellow.
I am booking my car in for my WOF. So I will get it investigated

We work to live, and to live is to drive a VR-4, around corners at speed. But it costs see here
Sounds like a good time to get your headlights upgraded to HID's
But then you might still have issues getting your WOF...HID Conversion Kits are now illegal. I've still yet to go for mine (Aug) so will have to see then.
The mechanic reckons it could be a faulty earth.
Depends where you take your car to get a WOF. Some mechanics wouldn't know better if you had H.I.Ds or if you had upgraded bulbs. Some mechanics wouldn't even care.

haahah good one Kenneth.
Osiris, I'm with you on that, most mechanic's wouldn't know, and you could probably just tell them the car came with it, and they would never know.
They tightened all the connections and replaced one of the bulbs. I will see how long it holds.
