Imported legnum 2001 at KTC!?

I just saw on autotrader that Keighley Trade Centre have a fresh import, Legnum 2001 VR4

I'm just curious if these facelifts are possible to register in the UK now? I've heard it is almost impossible, but if KTC did it...!?

Not impossible to register facelifts, but i think its to do with the model not having the model report required for an SVA. Also it has to comply with many regulations that dont apply to cars made before 1996.
I think its pretty pricy to get a model report for the first time (thousands spring to mind) and its beyond the reach of most normal people financially.
I could be talking tosh, but im sure others will correct me if i am!
Would be interested to know it it is a post facelift one .....

Theyve had a few 2000ish models before.

Might be worth asking them how they register them.. but im sure they have a 'way'

What is the date restriction on imports and why?

Imports of that age require a model report to ensure it meets uk legislation...

Other rules apply to older cars, but generally the newer the harder it is.
