Oh.. thats alright I'll catch you at pod instead, I'm interested to see what you've done with your wireing as I've done a home made version of the 'Grounding Kit' H.7 did.
I am electrician by trade so all is well, I was just curious what your wireing looked like as I can't remember exactly what yours looked like at JAE.

Some gaffer tape is applied and it almost looks like it is part of the original car!!!!!!

OK I lied! but it doesn't look bad!

The results, well it survived the blat up the road at least! But now for the numbers...........................

Well back up thankfully, I am only 5HP short of the maximum figure I have ever reached. This could be down to environmental conditions, road conditions, the amount of fuel I have in INSERT INTO post VALUES (full tank) etc etc etc. So I am quite happy. OK it is a bit down on the stock system, but it looks way cooler! I will continue with the tests over the weekend and keep you all informed!

For my next trick I will sort my boost controller out.......there must be 50HP in there somewhere!!!

Oh and I have just ordered some brakes which should cause rumblings at the POD!!!!!! :cool1:

I did some fiddling at the w/e.

With the boost controller that is. Going from .7 bar to 1 bar added on average about 25 hp and took around 1.5 seconds off the 0-100 mph time.

Multiply PS by 0.9863 to get HP INSERT INTO post VALUES (approximately)

    Hey bigdaveakers,

I've designed my own custom intake for my Legnum VR-4. I've written up a complete setup and install which Barry has put up on the website. If you were to give it ago it would be interesting to see what figures u get out of it?

I will probably be doing a similar thing soon, but not until I move the battery to the boot.........I will then go through the metal beneath the battery tray.........I already have my hole cutter, just need to get up the courage to start cutting!

I think that it will be better as it will have a less torturous route! Incidentally where did you get your MAF adapter and 100mm to 76mm cone?

The MAF adapter came from a HKS Power flow filter INSERT INTO post VALUES (like the ones that some of the guys have here in there cars). The 100mm to 76mm cone was from a metal works place here in Kiwi land. U could just use a small plastic bucket or funnel and cut it down till it suits. I didn't want to cut into the body of the car as I had only had it painted awhile ago
