Private reg...

I used to have

M12 BDE - Mr Barry D Elder

Which i thought was smart, but dumbass here didnt keep the old plate, so the Private reg had to be scrapped with the old VR4 :mad: Do you know if this is "lost" forever? can i register another plate to that car and get M12 BDE back? for example my current reg plate, could that be swapped over to the written off VR4?

i inquired about a plate for mine and was told
"that you have to register an interest in the reg no. then it will go to auction and you will have to bid on it." :INSERT INTO post VALUES (

now place the plate screws in it and hey presto
i cant see yours being a problem due to it being after 1984 when the plates changed round.
think they charge £300 ish for the plate and £80 for the transfer.
but i might be wrong
p.s. the plate was my idea so if it becomes available i got first dibs OK.
