FS: Uprated Lash Adjusters - Group Buy.

I have found a source of uprated Lash Adjusters in the USA. Part number MD376687. They can be sourced at $10 each plus shipping, but we need a minimum order quantity of 240 (10 sets) to achieve this.

At the moment, US$240 = £140, give or take a few pence. I do not know shipping costs yet, but will have a go at working them out. /edit - worst case scenario is $20 per set.

    BOBBY BARGAIN!!

Shipping will occur 30 days (Manufacture time) after order date.

One thing that may get in our way is that the minimum manufacturing run is normally 500 pieces. The supplier thinks he can get them to do a run of 240 but this is not yet confirmed. Keep your fingers crossed!

Please cut and paste your names below if you think that this is a deal for you!

As I said in the previous thread, I will help people who are worried or lacking in experience/knowledge to fit them. It is straight forward but time consuming.

Cut and paste people - nearly half way there already!

The 6G72/4G63 lash adjusters can be got in the UK for £100 a set. We can't get under £200 for ours. The price I have found in the US is similar to that kind of proportion. If anyone can do better, please try!

The guy I am talking to is Frank at Timing Kit. His e-bay user id is bluezet1

The timing for the buy will be something like:

10 people say they are up for a set - as soon as that happens I will ask for money. As soon as I have the money I will order the lash adjusters. They will be shipped 30 days after the payment is made. (That is the manufacturing time.) Shipping will take a week or so I guess from the USA. So if you want them by May 2nd then we need to be ordering them now.

We can save a couple of quid by having them all sent to one address, but then it will cost to distribute them out, so that option is still open. Would it help if someone else took delivery if delivery was after 2nd May?

I won't have the funds for another month Nick, what with buying another car and everything this months wages have been used up. Sorry if this buggers things up a little, you may have to remove my name until the next batch is shipped.

The guy in the US can give me a price shipped. If anyone can tell me how to work out all the extras then please let me know!

Shipped is $260, or approx £150.

What do we have to pay then? Worst case from prices printed above is 10% plus 17.5%. Best case is nothing at all.

    So 10% is £165, then 17.5% is £194.

Are there any excemption rules? Will we have to pay all of that? Can anyone decipher the Customs and Excise rules?

As far as I can tell, the worst case is £194, the best £150.
