I'm not working either of those days . Think May would be better as I'm more sure of where I'll be.

May will be best for me aswell.
Will lowered cars get on the rollers ok?
"You have obviously mistaken me for someone who gives a s**t!"
Yep, lowered would be fine
I am very interested – I know I only have a V6 and can only push half the power you chaps are generating but I think it would be fun to see the difference a couple of turbos make. Also a fantastic lower model bench mark. If accepted I might give my m8 a ring with a GLS and also my brother-in-law with his Lotus Carlton (please advise if any of this is acceptable)
I can not fully commit until I know the date and cost.
OOOHHH Yeaaarrr Baby!!!!
I have 2 (but only 1 and a half works)
Warning May contain NUT!!
Alltough a bit long in the tooth now and an even rarer sight than a VR-4 , the Lotus Carlton is still my fave car of all time.
My dad had one as a company car in 1991 - I used to drive the thing with 'L' plates on........
Kept it for 2 years and 60,000 miles and then got a SAAB Carlson.
Right now my Galant is the closest thing I can afford to a Carlton sustitute, even though a couple of turbos seem to have fallen off somewhere..........
GET IT DOWN THERE
I can also have my own little shootout with the GLS
No problem slim, get them to register and get there names down.I think that all of the club would agree-It would be a good thing to see a carlton on the rollers and just to hear what it sounds like on full tilt it looks like the 13th may is the prefered date atm, if we get 30 cars then its between £30 & £35 pounds, less than that £40-£45 pounds.I think it would be intresting to see who has the bragging rights of the most powerful V6Originally posted by Slimshady

There's still a few cars out there, a certain blue v6 who claims to have the most powerful non turbo galant and some under 5 sec galants which aint shown an intrest yet Time will tell...........
I will find out a cut off date and payment details.
Will also send out emails to popular jap performance mags to get them involved
