A little bit of chrome I've only ever seen once

On my facelift GDI I had a little bit of chrome around the number plate, I've just put a pic up in my Gallery, it is the very last pic in the gallery.

I haven't seen this on any other car in NZ and I've probably seen close to 100 facelift Legnums now, has anyone ever seen it on any other car?

It did fit absolutely perfectly though, with no gaps or anything, and it did seem to fit into a small recess as well, I beleive it was a factory fitted thing. The car was a viento 1.8 with the full VR-4 type V body kit (missing wheel arches but everything else there) that was one of the very first facelift cars, made in october 98.
