at the moment no idea, I will try and sum it up when Ive finished. I know Ive spent over £400 on samco/sfs hoses, joiners and goodrich hoses and connectors so far.
thats a big exhaust I recognise the front of Dave's car and his mags in one of those pics.
Day 8
3 hrs spent modifying the power steering pump bracket to fit a belt that doesn't need the air con pump and modified the actuator bracket, Looks like we will be running a 6psi actuator to start with.
sorry no pics today...
Only 3 hours on a Sunday Richard? Forgot to set the alarm?!
nah, wedding yesterday so bad head all morning.
Looking superb Rich and Dave, top job ! Can't wait to see the results
Looking good lads
Is that 3" or 4" for the Zorst Are you staying with your present exhaust system or upgrading that to
Come to think of it, what is your current exhaust set up
Mine was a free flowing 2.5" exhaust, into twin TVR Tuscan endcans. So Im staying 2.5" for now.Originally Posted by WODJNO

Barrys stupid Question time: will the shroom be ok there in regards to heat, that turbo is gonna get v.hot?
It should be were going to insulate all the hot bits as much as possible.
Zentac, I promise I'll try really hard to get the loom made up asap.
It's looking great, have you considered running a cold air intake down in the bumper somewhere?
Looks good
Just one question on the heat subject again. Won't the heat generated from the Turbo melt the filter ? As Brad says, wouldn't a air feed to the bumper be an option.
Why would it, its attached to the cold air side of the filter. I didnt think that side got that hot. (one way to find out!)
I'm assuming you're gonna heat wrap all the piping seeing that after the air is cooled, it will only get heated again on its way to the manifold as it passes next to the turbo
just a quick note,
we had a *similar* air filter mounted directly onto the turbo like that, first full spool to 20psi and the foam was completly gone.
just something to be weary of. looking very good though. My single turbo never got very hot, in fact ran a lot cooler than with the twins.
Best Luck!
Horsepower is NOT proportional to the cross sectional area of your exhaust tip.
