That Instanbul "never say die" attitude saw us through again. A brilliant game and all credit to West Ham (although lady luck did help them). 3 cracking goals by Liverpool, and that god-like man Gerrard was outstanding........what a goal !

If you did not watch it, then catch Match of the Day at 11.50pm tonight - you won't be disappointed......one of the commentators said it was the best FA Cup final for over 50 years. I wonder which one was better ?

It was a great final - had a bit of everything in it. Well done to Liverpool but huge comiserations to West Ham who played a corker of a game and if lady luck would only have smiled a little on them this afternoon I felt could have walked away with the title

3-3 Normal Time: When your keeper makes a finger tip deflection onto the post only for the ball to come back across an open goalmouth bounce off a defenders shin, just over Sherringham's attempted header and of two further West Ham players in the 6 yard box lands at the feet of the guy who can barely move because of his cramp. I'd say lady luck was having a busy day

I'm still buzzing what a great game being a Southerner living up north I wanted West Ham to win but alas plus had a 2 Liverpool fans watching and was taking the Pi$$ for a while but that soon stopped time for a beer or 3 plus a few more
