vr4 twin fog lights

am i current in saying the vr4 front fog lights are the twin versions? anyone know where i can get a hold of them from?

The facelift VR4 has twin lights, but only one of them is a fog lamp. The outer lamp comes on when you have your lights on and indicate - it illuminates the side of the road you are turning into. Some people have decided to wire them both as fog lamps though.

Of course you can get them from a Mitsy dealer, but IIRC they cost a fortune. You could speak to Mo (Zedy1) to see if he has any second hand ones but I think they are quite rare.

Wow that must be good. I didnt knw that about the light which comes on when you indicate. il pm Zedy1 to find out if hes got any.

seems to be no supply, i dun think group buy can lower the price if there is almost no supply.

as told by members, that in ebay, fog lights last bid up to US$4xx ; it is over 200 pounds, not to say delivery fee..etc

your fog light is single light each side?? first time i know of these.

Yeah thats right mate, single light in each fog corner. Thats what you get in my v6 model in the UK (elegance), the sports v6 models come with fogs like gtz101 has.

Not all sports did, just the first lot, early, about W plate. Mine is X and has the same as yours. I want a set like GTZ's though

Trust me, the VR4 style lamps are better then my V6 Sport ones.

They look cool but rust forms on them very easily (ask Paul Beazer, he'll tell ya) making them look bad at times (VR4 ones aren't affect by rust) and also I just think theres something special about the VR4 lamps

The outer driving lamp is fine. The inner Projector fog light is surrounded by a metal ring. It is this ring of metal which rusts very very quickly. I rubbed mine down and painted them before i fitted my lights and they had rusted again within two weeks.

Yep my fog light (the inner one) was a bit caked with rust. A quick buzz with a bire brish and some black spray hammerite sorted it out tho.
