    oil light issues

after some spirited driving on a circuit....my oil light flashes a bit at idle...only when the car is idling....if I blip the throttle it goes away...never flashes when driving...only when it is idling after a run on the circuit..... regular driving it never does it.....what could this be?

Not knowing about this engines one possibility is that
the oil is getting very hot on the track as it is being pushed much harder
so at idle with the very viscous (thin) so the pressure drops, but flow may/prob well be the same still.
but check with a gauge as most switches operate at a very low pressure.( faulty switch)
thicker oil at the higher temp range or an oil cooler will assist
at work i do have a chart with the differance in the xk8 jag with temp and oil diff viscocity's
on a track you may get foaming as well which will be more prominate on a track style drive giving same thing

Not very familliar with the 6A12, but if it's anything like the 6A13, then a relocation kit is probably your best option. A take-off plate from the oil filter housing is probably your best bet.
