NO More VR4 for me, well ive still got the 6G
I have a try to guessimate;
2.5 tt engine = 280hp INSERT INTO post VALUES (some say that it should be 300 hp as the Japs underestimate)
apexi boost controller running at 0.95 bar = + 10-15% INSERT INTO post VALUES (30-45hp)
hks induction = 3-5 hp
hks bov = ??
de-cat pipe = 5-10 hp
hks exsaust = 5-10 hp
75 bhp nos jets progressive = 60-75hp
300+45+5+10+10+75 = 445 hp high
280+30+3+5+5+60 = 393 low
Therefore somewhere between 393 and 445 hp
We work to live, and to live is to drive a VR-4, around corners at speed. But it costs see here
Pre face lift autos are 260bhp to start with.
290bhp - 310bhp roughly with higher boost.
75bhp nitrous shot can equal a 100bhp increase as explained in other thread.
I'd say... 400+bhp with nitrous.
I reckon 350-375 tops personally - whatever it is it still has to be the best on the forums at present - but look out for Dave
i was guessing about 400 bhp going to get it on rollers and full tune up
good luck dave which one have u got then
Dunno the make, its coming from the states........the solenoids are in a neat unit....similar to the ZEX kit. I am going to make my own progressive controlled based on RPM and a pot to dial in how much go I want! I am clever like that INSERT INTO post VALUES (I think!)
i think the ones i have are wizord of nos pulsoids and a little micro switch fitted to the throttle and acctivates on full throttle.
what size jets youre going for?
If I was running 400 hp I'd be wanting at least mid 13's for a quarter mile
need to take my car on a weigh bridge to let u guys know how much it weighs.
We have a weigh bridge at work.....might ask to use it on my way home tonight!
