Important Announcement - JF2 Stand - Please Read !

The Club VR4 Committee have to announce that, due to a complete cock up by the organisers, we have only been able to obtain a stand for Japfest II for 30 cars......not 40 as hoped.

Of course this leaves us with the dilema of picking the 30 cars that would go on the stand. This was done using the following process:

1] All non-members removed (Soapy's dad & Donovan) - full members always get priorty as per the T&C's
2] All non Mitsubishi Galants/Legnums removed (Simon, K9NG, SGHOM, Wouter, Roger Rally) - all of these people are on track so will still be parked in the paddock but just not on the stand
3] Last in first out - this would have been 3 people, but Nick Mann and Braindg have both kindly volunteered to step down, so it just means Orionn2o in addition

The committee took a vote on the above process and it was carried.

We would say from experience that the stands can often accomodate more than the numbers booked, so if we can sneak anymore cars on it on the day we will. Of course we also need to try and accomodate the gazebo.

Those people who have not made the stand, please accept our apologies - we did everything we could to resolve this !

The stand passes are being sent to me. I may require addresses asap from some of you to post the pass to you, so you may wish to PM me your name/forum name/address now to accelerate this process as time is running out.

This still remains a huge CVR4 event, so we look forward to seeing you all next weekend.

hi guys

i am going to give up my stand place since its a bit tight as i cannot guarantee to be at japfest at all!

im going on me jollies on tuesday and ive got to sort out the house before we leave (this being sunday as im in work monday) as we own a boarding kennels all gardening and stuff have to be done before we go).

so unless the weather is pants for the weekend then i can go but if any chance its going to be dry im going to have to forfeit my ticket (unless someone wants to buy it! )

sorry for this late post but i only knew from 'er indoors yesterday!

so rather than say yes and not turn up i will say no so at least someone who is defo going can have a shiny spot on the stand!
