It seems some of you are hankering for some RR action. Im sure some of you from the RR in may has done some form of mod whether it be an IC,ZORST, EBC.Just a quick show of hands to see who,d be up for it. Mate of mine who writes for Practical Performance Car Magazine had his BMW on the rollers on Saturday, it's an old 3 series with a M535i engine in it and he's just bolted a big turbo on it and mapped the ECU himself. Anyway, a day at the rollers resulted in the guy aborting the run and having to guess the power because at 220hp ATW it was spinning the rollers. He took the car out of the road to try to feel where the power dropped of and then guestimated at 320bhp ATW. Some result for a DIY bodge job of a car.

Steve - tell him to get it on decent rollers! 300 shouldn't be too much to measure? Or is his suspension so dodgy they can't hold it in place?

I may pop along to a meet, but I will only put it on if I have the manual box in by then or it is somewhere other than WRC. I won't put mine on again at WRC as it is, simply because nothing has changed.

I can't call the rollers mate, I heavily suspect it's a suspension, tyres, chassis issue as Toby has literally wanged a 3.5 Straight 6 into a 15 year old 316 shell and added a mahoosive turbocharger without even touching the brakes, let alone anything else. When he accelerates it wiggles it's ar5e all over the shop, funny to watch, but scary as hell to pilot I should think.
