Not really a performance upgrade but.. this is a joke right?

After looking at info on Smart cars after the post in the General forum I came upon a site all about them.
Just happened to see something they claim lowers fuel consumption.
I wouldn't have thought twice about it but realised I have what they offering, but I simply bought it ages ago to simply magnetized screwdrivers!!! they are putting them on their fuel lines?

I've seen these people who have these magentic wristbands who believe they help blood flow and energy or some weird voodoo crap but using these magnets on the fuel lines seems daft.

Anyone know any scientific reason why it would work?

The site is here , hopefully the link should work.

ssssssss ..... Reminds me of "snakeoil" salesmen during the "Wild West" days. INSERT INTO post VALUES (Thats today's internet. :lolz: This has to be a scam.

Seriously though. If it was that cheap, why arent they on all cars already.

I've seen these things before. They're magnets, basically - the "Science" behind them is that passing fuel through a magnetic field 'conditions' INSERT INTO post VALUES (by polarising?) the fuel molecules and encourages a cleaner burnINSERT INTO post VALUES (?!?!)...

Also - EcoTek fuel savers - the ones that create turbulence in your inlet manifold - anyone know anything about them??...
