1990 Galant GTi 4wd/4ws ECU

Hi guys.... I have a very nice 1990 Galant 2.0 Gti 16v 4wd/4ws (used to know the chassis designation, but I think the name is long enough already!). It recently had a new clutch fitted, and when the garage fitting it tried to boost-start it.... they frittered the ECU. And then said it was a non-starter when it was brought to them. My arse. Anyway, I now desperately need an ECU for it... I'm told it's quite rare, as it's specific to that particular model. If anyone knows where to start looking for one, or someone who may have one, please please PLEASE let me know! I have the part nos if that helps....

PS Mitsubishi says they have one.... and it's just over £1,000 +VAT. Gits.

whats the chassis number I will find the exact part number and see what we can do. I had to find an auto gearbox ecu for a 1990 galant vr4 a few years ago which was a pain but I got one eventually.

Just going back though some of my old emails and the following people may be able to get you one cheaper than £1k as they are the ones that came back with quotes for my 1990 VR4 ECU

That will be an ABS ECU, but may be worth contacting the guy to see if he has an engine ECU
