I've just 'Stuck' Pete's portal thread so that we can all find it easier tomorrow.
It seems the time you take has a dramatic effect on your score, so if you cheat and google it then you may lose a lot of points anyhow.

Yep, for example:
Both Alex and I answered 7 correct, but she took 44 seconds longer than me and scored 44 less points
Edit: sussed out the formula.
You get 100 points per correct answer less the number of seconds it took = points scored
