    Question Gearbox Conversion

    Hey everyone

I was wondering if Manual is good for VR4's engine?

I was keen to do Manual Conversion into my 96 Leggy VR4 from Tipronic,
    Is that worth it?
Any better performance in Manual good?
How much will it be worth if change to Manual?
I just love using Manual lol

    Whats ya point of view?

    Cheers

It is about $1800 for the parts, then another $1000 for the conversion.

You get a much more reliable gearbox with slightly faster in-gear acceleration.

not worth doing the conversion unless you have already put alot of money into the car...

if you want a manual trade in your auto for one

someone here just had theres done (not bradc)
he had to supply all the parts + $1600 fitting

    Agreed

I dont think its worth it unless you plan to keep the car a loooooong time.

    Or the auto blows...
