Here's mine with the KKR 280's, this was with only very light throttle though as the tune was set for stock turbos, i.e. absolute max boost asap, so at like 1/4 throttle the boost controller went nuts, you will see the video, it's not really accurate, but anyway there it is, if I had given full throttle I don't know what would have happened??

It was in 3rd gear going up a very steep hill with temp at around 30C degree and high humidity....

Also attached is the dyno readout 'post tune', i.e. with the boost controller turned off completely. So the video is pre tune, dyno is post.

i have a question about your 13T setup,

was the stock exhaust manifold outlet port matched (bored out) to the subi turbo inlet size?
or did you leave the stock manifold untouched?

    TD04 - stock manifolds.
TD05 - ported to match the turbo exhaust outlet.

do you think there is any gain to be had if you had port matched the td04s?

On the contrary, I think stock manifolds gave me better spool up, but sure they would flow better up top if ported.

Passenger and a bit over 1 bar of boost (aka RSM Dyno):

    1.4 bars makes a difference:

Found this spool chart on the 3000gt forums, so now we have a benchmark, well almost as their engines are a little bigger, but here it is anyway.

I added my KKR 280's in there also, they're in black, they are hitting 9psi by 2550rpm which actually looks ok by their chart in comparison, this is with the boost controller turned off completely...

I'm kinda hoping once the boost is turned way way up to max it will keep spooling quickly from there and up to like 18psi at 3700rpm or so, if they do it will look something like the second chart

I just hope the second 'predicted' chart actually turns out like that.... I will find out in a few days.

That was on shell V-power (pump ruel)
New cams going in this week so that should help us hold the boost longer.

Has it actually been mapped for early spool? Seems to build VERY quickly between 4000 -4500rpms...just wondering how it's setup.

If found larger turbos can sometimes be spooled by running stupidly rich once it's making SOME positive pressure: it increases the charge density which helps turn the turbo. It does cost power, though, however sometimes you can make it up with a little advance, but more often it is compensated for by the car being on boost quicker!

You only need it in the higher load-points anyway (don't want it bogging on light throttle) however if the pedal is down and it's waiting to spool a "hump" in the fuel map can sometimes make all the difference.
