Water Cooling Tubes

hello again peeps.

i have just topped up my anti freeze in my water cooling tank and i noticed two tubes coming from the cooling tank cap.

1 goes to the radiator and the second tube doesnt go anywhere can someone please shead some light as to its purpose.

Overflows when the cap goes on the rad it flows to the expansion tank then if need be to the floor..

yeah, its a bit odd i agree, but as stuart mentioned nothing to worry about.
