Well the first drag strip run is planned for 31st March......and some more video footage will be made in due course to complete this epic project.
for those interested in the drag strip that we're going it's LONG MARSTON , shakespeare county raceway , near stratford
weekend events, free showers , there's a bar and burger vans and free camping

KEVIN has just rebuilt my scoob, running in at the moment but will be good for 440 bhp when ready , should see me in the low 11s , previous best is 12.578 with 340 bhp

just had some bad news from KEVIN , he was going round a roundabout and some twonk has drove straight into the side of him , no blame at all to kevin but he had to spend the day in hospital, he's out now and he's ok but the car is a bit of a mess , it's in the body shop now so hopefully will be ok by the end of march . . . all these problems with the car, then finally gets it running 100% and some pillock does this .

Quick request - I missed the earlier threads with the videos of this car in the making. Unfortunately the videos in the members section now seem to be offline. From the error message it seems like the server holding them has restricted access to the files due to excessive bandwidth consumption. Anybody know where I can download em from?
They are not available to download anywhere, however they will be back online here soon as Barry is in the process of sorting the video section.

I've only heard they were TD04 from GTO... 13Gs? Since 9bs are almost our TD03 size... they can't flow much...

. For a number of reasons, the ill-fainted car has never really run for long - and when Kev finally did get going, someone crashed into him!
So he never got it back on the road?
