    Hello FRom Brisbane Australia

    Hi,
    First off great site...
    So why have I joined?
Well I love my Mitsubishi Magna/Diamante
    So much o that I have just purchased a 6A13 2.5l 24v V6 DOHC Twin Turbo Motor / 5 speed SemiAuto GB and 4WD transfer setup .....
And YES this is ALL going into my humble Magna/Diamante.
I purchased the motor on Monday INSERT INTO post VALUES (yesterday) and pick it up on Friday I paid AU$2300 INSERT INTO post VALUES (973.347 GBP) for the front cut .. included everything bar the satnav :INSERT INTO post VALUES ( steering wheel and front guards and bumpers.

I am looking at importing a fully speced Diamante from Japan INSERT INTO post VALUES (SatNav, Leather, 4WD etc) and then transplating the motor into that shell...

I hope that by mid next year this will be finished.... I CANNOT WAIT!

Anyway I hope I have as much fun here as I do on my Aussimagna.com forums site.

Lookforward to speaking and hearing from people soon.

Oh and you can check out my car at the link below.... here is a quick sneek peek.

Welcome to the club, very useful place indeed especially with the work you have lined up.

You'll have to be introduced to ZEDY1, he's done or doing something similar I believe. Well, if not, he's buying an awful lot of Galants for some reason.

Nice looking motor by the way.

Not as fast as a VR-4, but it'll do for me.

    Thanks
Do you have links to more pics of your car.?
The front bar on mine is a mix.. INSERT INTO post VALUES (top is a mould of the factory Magna bar... bottom is a 200SX TrialBar) the two fibreglass pieces were joined together and then bogged etc to make the rounded shape.
I havent put the motor in yet... the motor is still sitting in the front cut..
Im hoping to get it running in there on the weekend.
I wil be changing computers over for both the GB and the motor....
I have a Link turbo controller to put on to help out as well.
ATM my car is a 1999 TH Magna Sports INSERT INTO post VALUES (built in Australia ) it is a 4speed SA GB and a 3.5l SOHC V6 I have put on the pod filter INSERT INTO post VALUES (I think it is the same as yours... if yours uses the Baked Beans Tin  and a 4.5" muffler
The car is only FrontWheelDFrive :INSERT INTO post VALUES ( But the New Imported diamante is 4WD/AWD
here is that last Dyno run I did with the latest mods..

    Welcome.

You will have the first Diamante VR-4.

I saw an advert where the Diamante AWD 180kw can do 6.7 sec 0-100.
We work to live, and to live is to drive a VR-4, around corners at speed. But it costs see here
