There is a bit of talk about a meet up and cruise to taupo from welly! Now sould we TRY and get a few others from around the place and sort something out! Only one thing i want to Know frist (if anyone knows?) is the paking there safe? Don't want my car taken or broken!!

Had a cruise down to the track the week before the A1GP arrived. It's well out from the township and would appear to have parking within the fences around the complex. I gather they use the main straight for the drags.

Taupo is usually safe for parking..

Just take the normal "remove everything from site" precautions and you will be fine..

Well guys I feel real guilty about this as I was always intending to go up for this, but...................things just got screwed up. Ended up in Aucks collecting a carbon bonnet so was miles away and totally missed it. Bugger really.

While there I was also hoping to drop by Bradc's for the 'workshop day' but time got away and I had to head off back down the island.

Hope someone did go as I haven't heard the results and haven't found any on the net yet either.
