Was the correct engine code entered when running the emissions test ... sometimes it's possible for the tester to enter the wrong code ... if you catch my drift ...

Did they take it out for a blast before the emmisions test, to get the exhaust and O2 sensors really hot, remember 600C (or so) to get the O2 sensor working correctley. at least they could have reved it to 5000rpm for a good few minutes to the same job, but not as well.
Be interseting to here what you went through to try to get it through the emmisions, or was it nothing at all.
but you probably know this already, as you are one of the ancients of the club with a ID of 12.

The car did not even get emission tested as it is smoking worse than a a ganja confernce
Replace the turbos with the ones on my spare engine they should get you through Derek , still got a few weeks until you need it to have passed

just stick Diesel badges over it, put old oil in it and let those lash adjusters sing their little hearts out.

The other option is that WRD gets certified for doing mots??? That would make many many members happy
or drive down and use my tester he o.k with mine

Here in NZ all the tester has to do is look at the back with the engine reving for 10 seconds to see if there is any smoke. Much simplier.
