odd, it's not there now on mine either...

I've noticed especially with firefox, that sometime the cached images can get a little mixed up especially for the smilies.

So where you might expect a smiling face, the cache places something completely random for a while till it's cleared. May have been the cause

Yeah, sometimes it goes a bit crazy. In FF ive seen overlapping text and allsorts - quick refresh resolves it. Theres two lots of caching going on, 1 on your machine 2 on the server of the most popular threads - quite possible somethings gets its knickers in a twist rom time to time - it doesnt happen often enough for me to worry about it though.
