2nd VR4 for me! The first one was an auto prefacelift, second one a manual (much better) facelift!

First one for me. But I "could" be tempted by the right facelift if it came along one day. Possibly Legnum. Preferably manual.

    2000 Legnum VR4

Four for us, Liz has had three but I 'owned' them at the weekend.
92, 97, 2000 and my 2000 Leggie so currently got two.
At one stage we had the VR4, the Leggie and an 88 Cyborg all fighting for garage space.
Shoulda kept the Cyborg, it was mint and a scream to drive. Sold it to mate who fitted the extractors and then clocked 175 kph in it on a back road. Just a 1600 DOHC NA as well, no turb.

    DA BORG

    Watch out, I've got a VR4 and a 4G61T and I'm not afraid to use them !

    Yeah, not bad eh ?
I pushed it up to 130 myself once and it was pulling to go but my license chickened out. Had plenty left and was still accelerating hard no problem.
    Fun car ..!

Those old(86-88ish) cars were good.. i used to get my dads Telstar up to 160 and it had more to go... never was game enough to see if it to the indicated 220km on the clock...

But only because I could fit Brembos more easily/cheapily. I would still have to "upgrade" the bumpers to the pure breed / original VR-4 look ...

Now there is an option for me I can vote for none, but want one - however unless I either

    a) give in to work pressure to do a job I don't want to do in Manchester full time and get a company corsa or

    b) give up my 'golden handcuffs' share options and get another job with a company car so I can have a VR-4 as a second car its unlikley......

..... unless MPBVR4 gets bored with his - my ideal Galant

For now I will just have to put up with a look-a-likie
