    cant please everyone...
thou there isnt alot of choice out there kit wise for our cars (thats affordible anyways)

and in nz its different (for now anyway) to what everyone else has,
and if there was an evo 5/6 wagon i would have bought one,

for now a evo kit will do me just nicely...

cant wait till i have it, so i can continue with the rest of my mods.

They don't in anyway shape or form. Ive been hitting the arsehole I bought them off months for a refund but he's bitching that he can't do that and the best he'll do me is have me pay him another $500 for his "mate" to "fix" them. So the entire things turn a fair bit pooey and it's come down to me getting my lawyers involved now.

um,..I don't think I want to make it that wide since not all the ppl would like to change their mags after changed the guard,...I would say a little bit wider is what I am looking for.

I have a shipment for evo7 guard just arrived last FRI,I have a close look at one of the style of the guard yesterday night, and I like it really much,I would say I am trying to order one from that guard for your's car really soon,I will post up the photo of it tonight, and you guys can let me know what you think, cheers

    Yeah that's him.

I think you shouldn't worry too much about people not wanting to swap rims with a new guards. Most of the people who'd be interest in the guards would want to be able to put a wider rim under it anyway. People like me who were constraind in the first place by narrow? How wide a tyre do you think would be possible with your planned guards, both rear and front? 255?
I'm not arguing...I'm just offering an endless series of contrary points of view.

colinjones is the right guy?is he a chinese????long time ago I brought a set of genuine jpana kit from him,he not really good to deal with honestly...he always selling some kit really cheap in trademe.

um,...it will be about 2cm wider than the factory one I guess, not sure can it use 255 of not,to be honestly you don't need to go for that wide, and even the guard is wide enough for you to use 255,you still have to do a lots of work on your chassic to run 255.My EVO run 255/40/17 on 9" rim,I done a lot of work to make it fit.guard is not the main issue.

255 wide tyres on 17x9" rims will fit on a VR-4 with an offset of 35mm. You will foul the guards though, so need either wider guards or heavily rolled.

There are pics on the site somewhere of my Legnum with such a setup.

alfred, when you come to see my car you will see it on 17x9.5" wheels with 235/45/17 wheels and a 35mm offset. The front guards are fine, but it rubs on the rear, I will need to get my evo 5/6 rear arches on to make them fit.

seen it tonight,it look really good!!!!!I love the mags and always looking for the special edition for my little car,but they don't made it anymore.....:=(

according to what we discuss tonight, attached the photo of the evo guard, look at it on the side,it's about 30mm wider than the factory evo guard,I guess should be able to sort out your 255 problem.I will go for it if there is more pre-order.
