Here are the photos taken by the professional photographer at Spa. It was a awesome track and we all had a fantastic time. I missed the morning session ... something to do with keys ... can't remember what ... but more than made up for it in the afternoon when I think I did about 25 laps ... the best part of the circuit is the long downhill straight (shown in the photos). You can hit 120mph down there easy and then just dab the brakes for the chicane and power up the other side ... absolutely fan-bloomin-tastic ...

Oh ... and I just want to add that all the cars behaved impeccably all weekend ...

Pete and I got about 25mpg ... which was good considering the pace we were travelling at ...

I think Andy got about 60mpg ... in fact I don't think he has filled the Scud up again yet ...

25mpg isn't bad, how fast were you cruising at?

Brad, we cruised around the 80-90mph mark most of the way, but had a few stints reaching 120-130mph.

Jane, great track for pictures.....especially if the sun's out......and the boys will love playing on the track (especially Simon as there's so much room to drift)

I tell you what.....I will think twice next time. We were sat in the bar earlier (in Brussels) and two Belgian policemen came in......I never knew they carried firearms

in NZ they don't carry guns, if something dangerous is taking place they have to call in a seperate unit. They do wear bullet proof vests, which I think is kind of strange, considering they aren't allowed guns.

I actually managed to get 135mph recorded on the GPS at one point ... I didn't see what that was on the actual speedo, probably 145mph. Was all good until some Belgian numpty in a Volvo decided to brake test me by pulling out in front of me doing about 80mph ...

Bedded the new pads in nicely ready for the Ring though ...

I never knew they carried firearms

It is a shock when you first see "Bobbys on the beat" carrying side arms. Took us a while to get used to it when we live in Holland.
