Auto to Manual Conversion almost Finished

    Ok, where do i start.

The manual gearbox is in and i can drive the car now.

Had a few problems along the way. The biggest being when i went to start the car it did nothing.

Had to cut the auto flexi plate (the thin plate betwwen gearbox and engine) to get the starter motor to fit.
    The Auto ECU is disconnected.
The reverse lights dont go yet.
The electronic shifter box (little white box ontop of auto trans) is still connected to wiring to enable starter motor.

    Fault codes present
    AYC
    22 26

    TCL
    27 61

Traction Light (little car with skid marks)
    12 15

    ABS
Light on all the time the ignition is on, doesnt go off.

Park light lit (little green light beside P on dash)

Other than that all else is good, clutch feels nice, gearbox is smooth.

TCL and the ASC system won't work now, they only work on automatic cars. The AYC and ABS should be fine though, they work on my car

    abs,

    check your sensors/and abs rings,

you may have damaged one when you had to remove the driveshafts.
this would/should be the reason its on.

parklight, take it out! get a manual dash.....

you may need to get a manual ecu. to get rid of the tcl warnings?
no sure if this is a seperate ecu or not...

also get a manual TB without all the tcl gears on it and rip all the associated bits out!

Timos wreck had a 1998 manual ecu. Dont know if Don took that too or not. It has a broken mount from the accident, but should still be fine.

    Easy Fix to the lights.
Removed the bulbs for the ASC, TCL and Park light.

Just got to plug in scanner at work tomorrow to find out about ABS and AYC lights, guessing they both linked together somehow.

I probably damaged one of the front wheel speed sensors.
But took it for a longer drive today and loving it already.

When i start the car the AYC light and three green bars appear then go out. The abs light stays on solid. When i turn the first corner and red AYC light appears. Havent tried TCL (new Clutch) or ABS yet. Will do Over the next few days.

The fault codes for the AYC light flashing were
22 - left front wheel speed sensor
26 - abnormal wheel speed sensor data

Looked into it further and the sensor is stuffed, one arriving on monday.
No traction control in the vehicle now so the wheels spin up very easy now.
