I was being a traitor and cheering on the Datsun 120Y
I obviously haven't seen that episode, but I've seen the first 6 that they've done in this season, and they have all been very very good
Yep a great show last night. Very funny. TG back on form. Also been watching reruns from a couple of years ago on "Dave".
Bloody hilarious when the SD1's door fell off, and how Hammond kept nudging May's car when he pulled up. Didn't think much to that Aston though, not as nice looking IMO as the normal DB9.

Correction ... Dad had 1 Princess, 1 Ambassador and an SD1Originally Posted by Spirit
And the SD1 was a lovely car as I remember it ...
TG was brilliant tonight though ...

Are you sure, I thought it was 2 Princesses before the Ambassador ?Originally Posted by White Lightning
Yeah i agree, was a good show. Enjoyed the BL car tests the most.
Nah, it was two Wolseley Big 6's, then the brown Princess 1.7HL with the spotlights (!) (reg PDR 357S) and then the gold Ambassador (reg A938 HEX). With a Mini Metro in between for good measure!Originally Posted by Spirit
I stand corrected.......smart arse
It was Ok, the BL thing was too long only the Aston reviewed
Nick
Watched it last night and almost spat my dinner across the room. I think I found it particularly funny as Nick's first car was an SD1. I have many a fond memory:
sitting on the hard shoulder waiting for the very nice RAC man watching the fireworks we were on our way to see,
Nicks mate trying to sort out a rattle by taking the gear stick off while going down the motorway,
Nick being annoyed that the steering wheel wasn’t on straight so taking it off again while going down the motorway,
forth gear blowing up while going up the particularly steep bit on the M40 to London (he still managed to limp it there and back to Birmingham)
It is still sitting in our garage rotting away. He claims that he will have the time one day to lovingly restore it. I once asked which he loved more me or the car – big mistake

Love you Vicky!
Let's be honest here...anything that allows you to remove a stick and wheel shaped thing whilst on the move has got to be better than something that could say No or Stop It! at any time...I'd be with the car on that one...fortunately my good lady isn't daft enough to ask me that sort of question...she's quite happy to sleep in the garage whilst my mountain bike shares the master bedroom!
