vr4 meaning?

im doing this presentation for work tomorrow (yes its late, and yes i should have already done it )

im wanting to explain what vr4 actually means, but cos of this stupid search option on the forum it excludes loads of keywords cos they common

anyhoo..

hopefully the guys online atm can help before i go to bed.

what does vr4 mean again? i know its on the forums somewhere but i cannea find it..

four cyls per head
four wheel drive..

but whats the fourth 4th?

VR4 stands for Viscous real-time 4 wheel drive (I do believe).

what the heck does that mean???

viscous coupling is a type of differential that links your front and rear so if the front or

rear start breaking loose and lose traction, the torque is transfered to the other set to

allow the wheels without traction to lock up again. Realtime-4(AWD, not part-time 4WD).
