My beloved V6 at the breakers

My ex 2002 V6 Elegance estate is now at the breakers for anyone looking for parts. Its at ASM auto recycling in Aylesbury. Anyone interested I might be able to help with history.

Citroen van (white of course) came out of a side road without stopping, hit behind rear n/s wheel and spun through 90 degrees into brick wall. So much damage at such slow speed! Insurance write off

Thanks we were all just a bit p****d off and surprised by being hit - memory of it is real slow motion replay. It was back in october, since then have replaced with a 2000 V6 with a few more miles and a few more gadgets.

No problem, but all the front bumper assembly was pretty much trashed as you can see in the pic, and I think it was all thrown away at the time.

Yes it did have black leather - pretty good shape apart from some wear / thinning on the drivers side.

Transmission was manual 5sp

spare, Ive just got uprated driveshafts, so the next weekest link is the box.

Thanks for the heads up, gearbox should be on its way to me next week. Paid a deposit yesterday. Were there any problems with the box before the accident.

No the box was great - very smooth and reliable. Hope it works well for you
