Ok, the weather has improved and as long as it holds out tonight I can get the pics and vid.

If I'm honest the thing that really bugs me is the paint/bumper. I see it every day and think 'That really spoils the car, I must get it resprayed'. Once I get in the car and start drivng I forget that though as the fun factor just takes over again, until I get out and see the bumper again.
It has developed a squeak at tickover but Kieran looked at it at the weekend and thinks I just need to tighten up the power steering belt. If that's all it is I'm happy, if not I guess the pulley will need doing and that would be the first job done, not much cost to fix though. The battery has been replaced now and sports a 60AH/550CCA job with standard posts, not the crappy little Mitsi ones, this has made a difference to everything electrical compared to the dead original battery it had before.

There are little things that I would change but they are things I would change on any VR-4 that hadn't already had it done, like decent front seats that actually grip you as the car goes round the bends at impossible speeds and some 17" wheels so I could fit brembos(more for the look than the braking power). Oh and a complete ICE install All things that aren't a bad point about this particular car though and are just, if I had the money/time jobs.

Anyway, it's lunch and aI'm hungry....perhaps the first one to get me a burger can buy it

Ok, the pics and vid are done, I'm just uploading them to the website now.
The video sucks to be honest and I wouldn't buy a car if it sounded in real life like it does on the video. At least you get the idea and the squeak has gone agan but you can hear the noisy tappet but it quietens down after a few minutes.
