I an wanting get a flip key for my Galant : Do these exist and if so where can you purchase from ?

Flip key?? You mean like the Audi's and VW's?

Not sure mate. I would have thought perhaps some searching on the net may find an aftermarket manufacturer. But do you have the alarm etc built in to the key? or is it the separate fob thing for that
There are some on ebay, but they don't have any alarm stuff in them, so they end up much bulkier.

Like VW ones and also with no alarm in, have separate Cobra alarm fitted on a fob.
Seek user flip_key on ebay. Did mine and I'm very pleased with it.
If its a UK car, you'll have a transponder for the immobiliser in the key - the flip ones I have seen before on the likes of eBay wont.Originally Posted by 2700gavin
JDM cars didn't have any security at all out the factory it would appear - in which case any key blank cut to fit will work
