the bell housings are different.
the bell housing is a different shape for the 4 cylinder engine, also the transfer box is in a different place, so it will be quite difficult to get it working.
The internals however are the same, we have swapped EVO gearsets over from VR-4's without a problem.
I'm 75% certain that a 4/5/6 G'box will fit , as the transfer box is in the same position as on a VR4 and the bell housing may just need to be swapped

Thanks Guys, Its Cause I've Been Having Trouble Converting My Fwd To An Awd And I Dont Know Where To Get The Driveshaft From? i've heard that a 7gen. galant would fit but i wasnt sure if they were right or not?
I don't know if they are the same or not, but Kempy's is definitely the place to go to, they have millions of parts there!
The 7G VR-4/AWD G/Box and drive shaft should fit fine....
AFAIK all the 6A engines will mount up to any 6A G/Box e.g 6A13TT with a 6A12TT G/box.
