Picking up a Legnum VR-4 TypeS next week

Just wanted to say hi, I'm getting this Legnum VR-4 next week, and looking forward to it!

I've just signed up for full membership, and no doubt I'll have a few questions as soon as I've had it for a couple of days! I'm defecting from the GTO owners club, I've got a twin turbo GTO import, but it's died and as I can't justify rebuilding it I thought I'd go for something a bit different...!

Since the car is an auto and a prefacelift model then it won't be 280bhp - more like 260bhp. Only the early model manual cars had 280bhp. Just thought you would like to know in case you haven't bought it yet! I have a '96 vr4 - same colour and auto and love it to bits so don't let the above comment put you off!

Thats a nice looking motor you have ther mate! I got your pm on the gto board, so i will get back to you on that.

You will love the VR4, they are really really nice cars. And the best bit is all the goodies you have on your gto will transfer accross if you like!

You will also get on really well with the guys here- they are a great bunch. This is by far the friendlest forum i go on. You already met Nutter John and Barry and Chrisie and probably some more of the guys at TOTB didnt you?

I picked up the Legnum today, here's some pics...

















I've already got a few mods lined up for it, and it also needs a little bit of TLC here and there, but I have to say I'm very pleased with it. I'm going to run it down to Eurospec at the weekend hopefully, get Ben's professional opinion (ie he can tell me I've bought a duff 'un!), and perhaps also wave a last goodbye to the GTO...

Nice car btw, i know how much you loved that GTO and it cant be easy to let it go.

You're right, it's not easy letting go of the GTO, but you know what a state it was in with that crack, and the damn thing still managed to get me to TOTB and France for a week!
