    hks k/n filter

    This is the HKS Filter that i put on my Legnum, can ne 1 tell me if ne good

    Not sure what you want to know, but if you did it to improve the appearance then fine.....but they are not proven to improve performance due to heat soak issues with these type of filters.

    They are also proven to have very very poor filtration qualities. Better with a quality cotton filter like a K&N/Apexi/Green Cotton job. Also, they need a cold air box and cold air feed to improve the performance.

    If it's genuine HKS then they are pretty good at filtration, but certainly a cold air feed will help a lot.

    If it's a cheap eBay copy then I would return to the standard airbox.

    Even genuine HKS are poor at filtration. There was a test that showed both the HKS and Blitz SUS induction kits did pretty much bugger all filtration, whilst the best was the Apexi. If you can see light through them when you hold them up, the filtration is crap.

    I remember a filtration test on the Net, and yes - Most foam and steel mesh filters tested didn't filter very well at all.
