I notice MDOC are trying to get numbers together for a translation.... I did wonder whether to point Simon (Their Admin) in the direction of both this thread and the one on OzVR4....

That's a tricky one. I've seen a chap with a lot of happy customers driven out of business on the back of 2 well publicised cock ups, at least one of which he wasn't given the opportunity to put right.

However, I think one of the pertinent issues in this case is that the firm is in another country (not for all of us obviously, I'm guessing the Delica crew are UK based too). If they were a UK firm I would have been reasonably confident in my legal position and got my money back*, but I don't know what laws apply in the upside down parts of the globe, so would probably have to put it down to experience.

The problem is they have had ample opportunity to fix the issue but they don't even respond to messages that are sent to them. I'm fairly certain NZ will have trading laws that say a product has to be fit for the purpose it was advertised at and that something as major as this would be considered as a failure to provide said product as intended.

i have mailed them a few times and never had a reply ! but they was quick enough to mail me for the final payment !!!

Finally i have had a reply but just the usual about them sending it soon. I'm not sure I believe the bit about most of the preordered manuals being posted though.

My two manuals appear to have the pages all in order (i.e. 1 to 250) and both have their indices right at the back.

But no contents relating to the AYC and very little on the automatic transmission.

Do not let other people suffer the poor level of service that we have had. My manual has not arrived and from what I am reading it will be almost useless when it does. Please do exatly this Kieran. Cheats do not deserve to be in business.

Actually the Mitsi Delica manual is already available in English.

My understanding is that it doesn't fully cover the 4x4s - Hence MDOC have approached JPNZ for translations. They've got a couple of stickies regarding getting the 'Interested' numbers to the trigger levels, just like we did.

After JPNZ translation they propably still do not have fully covering manual.
