1998 versus 2005. Cars are getting uglier!

ok it isn't a fair comparison, but isn't my Legnum hot for a 9 year old car?

the other car is my work car - yes that means I have 2 legnums, the bmw and a 2005 nissan pulsar! It's only done 45000km's, but man what a piece of crap!

It is very loud, tyre, wind and engine noise are all quite bad. The curvey shape, small rear window and big C pillar means that it is impossible to see out of, it only has a 4 speed auto, so it is never in the right gear and is terribly slow, the seats are uncomfortable, the suspension manages to pick up every bump on the road, yet it is very very soft when going around corners and the car rolls like hell, it has no grip at all and the entire dash design is not only ugly, but difficult to use, doesn't have any space in it, etc. Basically it's the worst car I've ever owned! It also happens to be the newest by about 7 years!

The pulsar is not a particularly nice car, but I think that lowered, with a decent body kit and alloys, it would look a lot nicer. I wonder if there is an Autech version say, of that model pulsar?

there are some around the place with a little spoiler that goes on top of the rear window and down the sides, similar style to the prefacelift Legnum spoiler. Isn't going to fix all of the problems I listed though!

    Mitsubishi Galant/Legnum (win!)
    Evo's (a lot of them)
    Nissan Silvia S14
    Nissan Pulsar GTiR
    Toyota Caldina
    Toyota Altezza
    Toyota Celica
    Toyota MR2
Honda Integra/Prelude (dare I say it)
    Honda Accord
    Honda RSX

    gosh, the list goes on.

but you can encase it in a whole lot of fibreglass so that you can't see the turd. Pine air fresheners will take car of the smell

and RSX ftw because its a real car. NSX is too sports carish for me to have listed (though I did consider it)

    Your missing the point.
Work car = free gas no need to dip into the wallet for anything else for it.

when I was using the ST-R I was charging them at .67c per km travelled. I did 5000km in one month...thats $3000! That paid for the cambelt change, full service including every single wearable part in the car, warrant, insurance and petrol for the next 3 months!

TBH I'm more than happy to drive the ST-R, it is larger, more comfortable, faster, a manual, sounds better, etc etc and I make money from it

why u have to keep this pulsar ?
if u don't like it, get rid of it
To be a work car , it must satisfy your very basic requirement. At least u don't hate it , lol

A work car to me must be able to save a lot in petrol expenses,
i bought a 2006 Honda 1500cc small car as work car, it runs on average 15km per litre petrol
and it is a 7 seater small car. Its only weakness is : SLOW
