Sorry that this is a little without any kind of extra info, but doing a few searches whilst the site was down I found this page:

I have no idea what kind of VR4's they are. Interesting 1/4 mile times, though!

Hi Nick
They are all 1989-1992 VR4's (assume next to the word Galant is the age).
As we know, these are available in the USA and therefore the tuning market is a lot more advanced than our 8G versions. Some damn impressive times there and interesting to see a non-NOS at the top of the pile. Gives a goal to some of our more power hungry members (BDA and Mo :-D ) to aim for !
The non-nos at the top was doing 103mph after 6.5 secs! It would be good to know what his 0-60 is.
How are you doing with yours? Any advances on 0-60? Will your 1/4 come down even more if you improve the 0-60? It will be good to see several sub 14's at the pod this year.
Limited "private" test track facilities are my issue - got my 1/4 mile down to 14.09 but still playing with the 0-60 times
Bare in mind those older VR-4's are also VERY small and without any kind of luxury like what we've got in ours, so their power to weight ratio is probably proportionate to ours standard Vs standard.
Look how much faster the EVO is compared to ours.. they've got a dinky 2 litre whereas we've got a sluggish 2.5 litre which adds weight plus we're bigger than them anyway..
Good point Brind. I see our car as an "Executive" EVO. i.e. it is not for racing, but can mix it with the best of them.
We work to live, and to live is to drive a VR-4, around corners at speed. But it costs see here
