Mines VR-4

I saw a white pre-facelift legnum driving down Lambton Quay this afternoon. It was lowered on maybe 18 inch rims - I think the rims were black. It had a large after market intercooler and beside its VR-4 badge on the back it said 'Mines' in small lettering.

The guy driving looked like a 20-something pakeha. License plate was BZZ833. Anyway, very clean looking car. I thought it looked very nice. I guess it might have been a Mines tuner special. Anyone know this car?

It was just sold on trade me. I think i seen the same car on the motorway in lower hutt, gave him a wave and unlike the last guy he waved back. but yeah big front mount that was all i seen.

I thought, Mines specialised in Nissans, what did they do to your car?

not entirely sure to be honest. I do know its got a Mines ECU, Front bumper thiingy, and some sort of tuning prior to leaving japan, i contacted Mines's Japan by email last week and am awaiting a reply. They seem to do most major japanese models, Toyota Supras and celicas, Skylines, and some evos, but ive been told in those instances, Mines takes the whole engine out and gives it the powerhouse treatment. So yeah, still not entirely sure, and id really like to meet up with another VR4 owner to examine things further.

Yea id love too. I woke up this morning and logged on and found i just missed a meet by like an hour haha, plus had the usual chores to do. But definately keen to come along just to learn stuff.

Not really. Usually family days. Yeah im getting back into it now... been going to the rec lately on mondays... get as much game before it gets demolished.

Ross and Randal dont know if you know them but they are locals here. and were in the New Zealand U18's last year? They got good records aye. They were in Porirua U12's all the way up to U18's and have won all finals. They have spent most of this year over in the united states as they had scholarships with Utah and Los Angeles? Dont know something like that.. theyre only young. got a few oldies that play. But its all f not hard out serious.
