    It was a real nice one, black and vented. It would good on your car (black on white) i'm pretty sure it had a mines sticker but it must of be something else.

    Nope, just well known for their upgrades to GT-Rs. Also respected tuners of EVOs.

    My first VR4 had a mines chip - huge performance difference! And overrides MAF. do you an have an aftermarket airfilter without huge issues with drawing in hot air from engine bay.

    Thats a good question. I'd have to swap it back for the factory air filter. its got a pretty average "shield" between in and the engine bay. Probly does jack all haha.

    That wasn't a question. I managed to completely screw up what I was trying to say! I meant to say you can have an aftermarket airfilter without the issues you get with the factory ECU.

    OH haha, in that case, i'd say it's performing better then!! haha. Can you add one of those computer piggy back thingys too? i have no idea about them, but everyone raves about Apexi somethin arather. PM me if you have some useful info. (actually any info would be good haha) Cheers

    You could add a piggy back computer, but I would imagine the Mine's ECU is pretty well tuned, so I am not sure if you would get any benefit at all.

    The Mine's chip in my old car remapped ignition & EFI, removed limiter, increased boost to be at "maximum" across entire rev range. I think there are two chips out though. One changes boost, other doesn't. It is very hard to find info about them.

    Tell me about it. I dont know what i have, all i know is when i bought my Vr4 the guy had it running just over 1.1Bar (16psi roughly) and it was missing when you try to overtake at speed. So i wound the boost tap down to about .6Bar now, doesnt go as hard but im really not sure what to set it too. maybe i should post a thread about this.

    0.9Bar should be fine, though I'd suggest you get a knocklink...just in case.
