Thumbs up Glad to be here.

Well my names drew im a car nut as most here probaly are. The main reason i am here is because i have a dilema, I like 3000gt vr4's and 300zx TT's, I already know the hp/tq and weigth figures but is there anythign that makes the vr4 better or unique from the 300zx? I am trying to decide what car to get and these two are very high on my like's list. Thank you for any help, anyone might be able to suply.

The 3000GT vr4 is different than the VR4 we deal with here. Here it is the Galant/Legnum VR4

The US site is www.3si.org for VR4's or try www.gtouk.com

Having owned a GTO i can well recommend them. No experience of the 300ZX sadly.

Welcome Drew - But I think we're not the best place for you!

ClubVR-4's aimed at the 1996-2002 Galant and Legnum VR-4. These weren't sold in the US - I think you're on about the Mitsu 3000GT or GTO, right?

If it is a Galant you want, my apologies! Otherwise you might want to check out www.3si.org - that's a big Stateside 3000GT VR-4 club and is probably of more use to you.

Welcome anyway though, we're a friendly bunch and whilst there's nothing directly swappable between the two cars, they do share a lot of similar DNA - TwinTurbos, V6 engine and AWD.

Unfortunately, you are asking the wrong people. We are Galant VR4's, in the 8g version. Not a version you had in the US. The 3000GT's are a completely different beast!

Hi welcome to the club but we are primarily about the Galant/Legnum VR4 rather than the 3000GT.

No worries - Good luck in your hunt! Whatever car you choose, they're both very good with a well established parts and service network in the US (from what I've seen) and both can be tweaked quite considerably, so enjoy!
