    Thumbs up advise

    i was on my way to work this morning and i hit the back of a vectra, no damage that i could see on her car or mine.. was only doing about 5-8 mile an hour....

    the problem is i gave her my name and stuff and she said she would phone and let me know still waitin.....

    i know i should have taken a pic of it but i forgot till i had drove off....

    do u think she will claim me or am i being paranoid now cause i never took a pic

    i once hit someone years ago about the same speed , they all said everyone was ok !My brother worked for insurance company and they all claimed whiplash and cost my insurace company 10k !

    Unfortunitly its a wait and see situation.

    If the person is of reasonable mind, all will be ok.
    If not, as in Ian's case, anything goes.

    You could be better off reporting it to the Police at least and get him to document the condition of your car, just to cover yourself.

    Hopefully it will all work out.

    cheers guys, not heard anything as yet but suppose that goes for nothing.... if they are a bit sly..... changing over to sky insurance on the 4 feb too.... bugger

    Good points people have raised - and take lots of photos of your supposed 'damage' area as I suspect weeks down the line she may come back following chats with mates who say "yeah, claim for a new car!" when there was no damage to yours and a nothing to hers.

    Be pre-armed!
