dented door

in the pub not drinking beer dont worry. Just gone out to the car to find someone in a fiesta has parked mm from my car and dented my door. I have jotted there number plate down. And taken a pic with my phone but what should i do about this. Im not having a dented door, because some scum hit it with there door. They weren't there earlier. Do i just ring my insurance company up and explain what has happened. Or what never had this happen to me before

i'd have kicked both doors in on fiesta , i think you will struggle with insurance though !

that is my next point of call. Wouldnt of minded if they had left a note but they havnt. Its maddening

You will struggle with insurance and end up claiming off your own to rectify the damage.

Happened me the other night in Tesco, i was FUMING. f'*kin IDIOT in an N reg galaxy piece of junk parked within 6 inches of my drivers side, all at an angle like he had parked at speed if you know what i mean. no major sign of dents on mine but there was in his when i left....measured about size 11 i think

I had to get my misses to reverse out as i had deliberately parked tight to a wall on the near side.

If its a well placed dent in the other car you want, make sure its somewhere that would make it fail an mot, like a side indicator....or lamp. That means he/she could get pulled by cops etc etc etc and make their life a misery.

i was thinking the age old way of. No i wont post that up. They might end up with a dint on there car. Just scum if i had dented someones car i would at least leave a note actualy i wouldnt park in a way that i could dent someones car edit. Im with kieran on this to be fair, i couldnt bring myself to damage someone elses motor

yes it has angered me. Even though its rusty nasty fiesta its still someone else car. Think it would be much more satisfying waiting for the owner the introducing his legs to my 9 iron lol joke by the way

You could try and bluff it - isn't there some way of getting the drivers details from the reg number, send them a letter saying you've got CCTV from the pub?

They probably dont care about their car the way we do so its not really the same impact it would have on us.

Better than a size 11 to their face and ending up talking to a man with funny white curly hair
