i think GT Radials are ok....even though they're marketed as a "budget tyre". If you really wanted good tyres i guess you'd go for michellines that are about $500 a corner

yep, you can store 5 wheels standing upright across the back seat, and 2 in the boot

I suppose, we may be doing tracking together, so that seems a good option too! As Ken says I can use the old wheels/tyres for the track and when the get worn out replaced them with slicks.

I've also got about 5 or so tyre tests from various wheels and motor magazines if you're interested in borrowing the magazines from me
