i think GT Radials are ok....even though they're marketed as a "budget tyre". If you really wanted good tyres i guess you'd go for michellines that are about $500 a corner

I think these are sold to me.
HELP !!!!
Now to tell the parents they will need to help me store my old mags/tyres for a little while until I get more settled.
Practical question. Can I carry 4 mags in my sedan ?

We work to live, and to live is to drive a VR-4, around corners at speed. But it costs see here
If you try hard enough yes! wouldnt have that problem with a legnum... hahahaha!
VR-4
yep, you can store 5 wheels standing upright across the back seat, and 2 in the boot
If you want to store the wheels at my place you're welcome too
Thanks Brad. You are a lifesaver !!Originally Posted by bradc
I suppose, we may be doing tracking together, so that seems a good option too! As Ken says I can use the old wheels/tyres for the track and when the get worn out replaced them with slicks.
now the biggest question, what tyres are you going for? I'm sensing a trip to the tirerack to read all of their latest tests and the consumer feedback?
I've also got about 5 or so tyre tests from various wheels and motor magazines if you're interested in borrowing the magazines from me
Ha sounds like Brad's house is turning into a pits for CVR4
sold to richard inc the gsd3s on them!
you can leave your old ones at my place when you get the 18s on...
and pick them up when your settled or have another place you would rather have them,
now i need some new 18" tyres.
Sounds like a plan.
Call me to arrange a suitable time.
At this rate Richard, you'll have the most heavily modified VR-4 in the club
Make hay while the sun shines.
On the cards is a lighter bonnet. With the vents, but I will need to repaint it to my silver colour.
EVO style or the style I have? I personally think EVO style looks better with prefacelift bonnets. Speak to Alfred at Speedfactory and tell him I sent you and ask for a good price
Thanks Brad ... I may do that later.
I left the old wheels at Carstens's I understand Brad will be going over soon to pick them up. ... Thanks Brad too !
I think they really modernize the car.
What do you guys think ?
they do look nice.
I'll be around at Carstens place sometime tonight to give him back the evo 8 wheels and pick up your wheels Richard
they look awesome on the silver Galant
the look much better on yours than they did mine....
got my new 225/40/18 GSD3s fitted now too, $230 each fitted/balanced...
now to book a wheel alignment
Will need to be lowered now imo mate.
go for some Tanabe or Tein springs. be about $300.
welcome to the world of modification.
Got your wheels at home now
Thanks Brad
